Why the employer has the last word

Utilities publish their own lists and they differ. Hawaiian Electric names TECH, CAST, MASS, POSS, SASS and CSR. Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation names CAST, MASS, POSS and a combined POSS/MASS — and no SASS at all. Some employers have moved particular roles to assessments of their own entirely.

So treat the result above as the battery EEI publishes for that kind of work, and the job posting as the authority on what you will actually sit. AECC puts it plainly: if a position requires EEI testing, that is indicated under the minimum qualifications for the position.
